Our Story

The name KOODD comes from Kooddoo, a small island in the Maldives that I once passed through. I removed two “O”s, keeping the memory of that place as the beginning of this brand.

I have always been drawn to animals. Over the years, I have traveled to see them in the wild — lions in Kenya, lemurs in Madagascar, blue whales in Sri Lanka. Somewhere along the way, the idea became simple: to create the animals I love, carefully and honestly, in physical form.

KOODD creates original wildlife models inspired by real species and the quiet presence of animals in nature.

They are not made as exaggerated showpieces, nor as toys meant to be quickly consumed. They are made to feel true to life: detailed, calm, and solid in hand.

We pay attention to posture, texture, proportion, and the small marks that make each species recognizable. A model should not only look like an animal; it should carry something of how that animal feels in the wild.

True to life.

Detailed.

Solid in hand.

More importantly, each piece is a reminder of connection — a small thread between humans and the natural world, one we are still learning to notice again.

We begin in black and white. Perhaps one day, we will move into more colors.

This is just the beginning.
